The Yes on Issue 2 campaign has released a new ad titled “False” to highlight the recent reporting by PolitiFact that rates claims made by Yes on Issue 2’s opposition as false. PolitiFact is a nationally respected nonpartisan fact-checking website that reviews and rates the claims made by elected officials and campaigns on its Truth-O-Meter.
“PolitiFact reinforces what the Yes on Issue 2 campaign has been saying for months: the big drug companies have been running a lying, misleading campaign filled with distortions, and PolitiFact has called them out,” said Dennis Willard, Yes on Issue 2 campaign spokesperson. “Our campaign is simple and clear. Vote Yes for Issue 2 to lower drug prices and save all taxpayers millions of dollars per year.”
